New Blog Design Header

I want to thank my good friend Jake Andrews for creating a custom header for the blog. I briefly mentioned what I hoped the header to convey, and he took it from there to create a piece that visually links Alabama with the Freedom Ride bus. I had high expectations, and he far exceeded them.

Jake is a graphic design student at The University of Alabama, and he's one of the most talented and creative people I've ever been around. Jake's design worked has been a staple of nearly every SGA project over the past 2 years, and he created the entire design package for the 2010 Uniting Alabama Gubernatorial Debate. See below for the main logo that he created from scratch.

His work is not confined to the computer, and some of my favorite pieces are his 10' murals in a couple of rooms in Tuscaloosa. At the moment, he doesn't have a website, and that's a shame because I can't show off his work. For now, these two examples will have to do.
